Hell

Hello to you all and a blessed God-given day.
I had a hard time finding a post picture that would not only fit the topic but also help to visualize the importance of our topic of what we call Hell!
The Bible references the name in a few different forms — Gehenna, Sheol, and Hades as well as different descriptions of this place we are calling Hell.
My reason for wanting to talk about this is that Jesus Himself talked about and warned us more about Hell than He did about Heaven!
Nowadays it seems everyone steers clear of this subject because it’s way more fun and easier to talk about Heaven or any subject that’s nice and gives us a warm fuzzy feeling – BUT – and I repeat – BUT- if Jesus felt it was that important to talk about and warn us about — It’s IMPORTANT!
Another note just so we remember — everything that Jesus taught and said to us, comes directly from the Father – ” God “
Now I’m not going to write about specific things that might take place in Hell, because I’m not totally sure —- all I know from what Jesus has told us, is that its a place we don’t want to end up!
Nor do we want our loved ones or anyone for that matter to end up there!
The one thing I do know is that in this place we call Hell – God will not be!
In other words, Hell is the absence of God —- now think about that for a moment ??
If God is love and justice and beauty and all things we consider good — then if God is taken out of this place, then so are His attributes!
This means — no love 🙁 no beauty 🙁 No justice 🙁 no light 🙁 no happiness 🙁 no music 🙁 no laughter 🙁 nothing good that we take for granted!
This could be why Jesus tells us there will be weeping – wailing and the gnashing of teeth in this place!
Even in the hear and now — try to imagine a world with no love – no color or beauty – no happiness – no music – no laughter, just evil around you day and night 🙁
This is why I’m sure that Jesus tells us and warns us to avoid this place where God is not present.
Believers along with the unbelievers forget that here on this planet God is with us no matter if we realize it or not – love -happiness- His creation – the universe and stars – night and day- the sun and rain- nature and beauty, in general, all come from God!
Well just for a small view into what Hell will be like just take away these things I’ve listed and multiply it by 100 🙁
I’ve never had so many unhappy faces on a post but then the place we are talking about and want all to avoid is a very – very unhappy place 🙁
God and Jesus also want us to avoid this place and that’s why we are warned about it and told how to avoid going there.
Some would try to blame God for this but it’s our choice on where we want to spend eternity once this short time on earth is over.
When those of us choose to NOT want God in our lives — God with a sadness gives us what we choose — but if only they – we- would think about what this means! It’s a very sad 🙁 thought!
Now i’ve started some of what Hell would be like and from what i’ve studied and read — it will be much worse – so please keep this in mind when we are in doubt about spreading the good news of how to avoid this chose of where we are going to spend eternity!
God and His Son- Jesus, loved us all so much that they gave a way out of this mess!
When we read John 3:16 – it says it all 🙂
Jesus gave His life and went through great torture for us all – so that we will not have to pay for our sins – He paid for them all on the cross! 🙂
Yes – we have certain requirements to gain eternal life in Heaven but its a no-brainer as we say.
Think about what we’ve been talking about – an eternity without God is a horrible thought!
Well – I could go on and on because I do think this is a very important topic as Jesus did, but for now, I think we should think about and study what’s been said.
Whether we like it or not – we are given choice in this earthly life of ours – choose wisely – choose God!
