The Devil’s Lie…

A big welcome to all who have taken the time and interest to look at the post and maybe even think about what we are seeing or talking about. I truly would like to post and talk about only the feel-good — do what you want and be what you feel stuff but I don’t feel that’s why God wants me to talk about the things we do on God’s Word and Way. Besides —- if you want to have your ears tickled there are many other places you can go to get that done–BUT– it won’t help you to secure your soul with God or to live a Christ-like life. I wanted to post this today because I hear a lot of ” I just want to be myself ” or ” I think it should be this way ” or the worst ” well everyone else thinks—– ” These are truly Satan’s thoughts being whispered in your ear and they can come from a multitude of places— family, friends, neighbors, the news or media and yes— even from your local feel good so-called church down the street. The Bible or God’s Word as I like to call it, warns us repeatedly that Satan would use these sources to try and steal your soul! Anytime you come up with a question in life or if you’re asked to make a decision on something—– always–always— look to God’s Word first and foremost to see what you should do or choose. When we ask WWJD—” What would Jesus do “— the answers are given to us in the Bible and all we need to do is to seek them out. God warns us that our hearts can deceive us so easily—- and this is why we must stand firm in our belief in Christ and pray always that God may guard our hearts and mind against the enemy. I’m not by any means telling you that the things we are asked to stand up for are an easy thing to do. Especially in these times, we live in, with a do as you please attitude or a who cares what anyone does as long as it feels good or doesn’t hurt anyone. These are the trials we are told we will face in God’s Word and these are the things life tests us on and God looks to see what we do or how we choose our stand in life. This is also where Jesus tells us the road to eternal life and the Father is narrow and not many finds or take it but the road to destruction is wide and many are on it. When I see the world and the people in it and the choices being made because of a deceitful heart or peer pressure, it saddens me and its one of the main reasons I started this site or I should say God nudged me some also. Its one of the reasons we talk about things that other churches and sites don’t want to address—— God and His Son wants you on the narrow road to eternal life with them in heaven and so do i. I’m not here for you to like me or this site and just come visit so you can justify how you live or something you either stand up for or don’t— by not saying anything, it infers the same as saying you agree. I’m after saving souls as each of us should be and not winning friends or agreement. The Bible also tells us that by telling the truth we will be hated. As long as God is on my side nothing else matters is how I look at it and I pray you to do also. I’m closing for now and in closing, I would like to end with — God bless and ” Be like Christ ”
