Jesus Paid The Price For Us

Howdy and a heartfelt welcome to God’s Word and Way.
I”ve been wanting to bring up and talk about a subject that to me is of utmost importance — ” Jesus ” and whom He is.
I’ve been in many a discussion and verbal debate over this question and I’m certain many of you will either say — I know or I disagree or you won’t think it matters or is important.
Well — if you study what God our Father says and what His Son Jesus says — it’s in my opinion very important!
It goes directly to one of the most important promises in God’s word — John 3:16 — ” For God so loved the world: He gave His only Son ” Jesus ” so that everyone who believes in Him may not perish but have eternal life !!
Did you note that God first of all called Jesus His Son ! and second that you need to believe in Him – meaning Jesus!
My point is this — how can you believe in Jesus if you either don’t know or are confused to whom He is.
Now the reason I bring this post up and the importance of the subject and discussion — is a man — yes man– came up with what is known as the trinity theory — yes theory and yes a man-made doctrine.
I truly believe when we are warned in God’s word about man-made up doctrines — this is a major one.
I could write pages on this subject but I will try to just hit the important items that help get to the truth.
Just one more thing before we look to the scriptures and what our Father – ” Jehovah ” and His Son ” Jesus ” say on this.
Just as a matter of fact — our Fathers name in Hebrew is ” Yahweh ” and His Son is ” Yeshua “
I mention this because its a matter of fact that both have separate names beside one being a Father and the other a Son of the Father.
Another — matter of fact point that upsets me and I have to believe God himself — is that God’s name ” Yahweh ” was written and mentioned right around 7000 times!
Now — since God had the Bible written and had His name mentioned that many times —– don’t you think it was of importance!
For one, to get to know Him personally and to me — for us to also know His Sons name.
Now the reason a lot of you may not know this is because it was taken out and replaced by Lord in most Bibles!
Lord is just a generic name that can mean anything or anyone of authority.
Now just think about it for a minute — if you wrote your children a book or letter so they could get to know you and you told them your name 7000 times so they could feel connected to you —- then out of nowhere someone changes what you have written and replaces your name with Him or Her — wouldn’t that get you a bit upset!
I’ve talked about this before and pleaded with everyone to get themselves the correct Bible with God’s name in it – either Jehovah or Yahweh — one is Greek origin and the other Hebrew.
Anyway — I didn’t mean to get off on that tangent but I believe it helps in confusing people because by taking God’s name out of the picture — both the Father and the Son are called Lord and this can help in the confusion.
If you have any doubt — find and use a correctly written original Bible — better yet — ask any church if they are using and distributing the correctly written word of God with His name proudly used as He had written in it for you — yes for you!
Ok — back to whom Jesus is and why the importance of knowing.
To touch briefly on the importance —
By thinking God and Jesus are the same — you take away the love God had when He gave His only Son as a sacrifice for all of us!
Any of you who are parents know what I mean — I would gladly take the place of any of my children if they were in danger or had to go through anything as Jesus did!
For God to let or have Jesus go through torture and being put to death for the US, is the definition of love — as it is written — for God so loved the world!
When it comes to Jesus — just try and imagine what Jesus went through! Ridicule — torture — painful death — and all for US — me and you!
Just read when Jesus was praying to His Father in the garden knowing what was coming — He was in such stress that He was sweating blood!
He told His disciples His soul was sorrowful to the point of death ! and He asked His Father if it was at all possible to let this cup pass from Himself but He would do it if it was His Fathers will and to put sin to death by His sacrifice — for US again!
As I’ve discussed before — the Romans were very expert at torture ! and if you read what scourged means — it would help you understand what Jesus went through !!!
If you would take the time to watch the Passion made by Mel Gibson I believe — it gives you a partial look into what Jesus went through.
My point — when you think God is Jesus – or Jesus is God, you are thinking and believing in the wrong person!
There is way — way — enough to thank God for but this is not one of them and by God’s own words —- it is a very important one when it comes to your soul and everlasting life !!!
Now a look at all the evidence in whom Jehovah and Jesus are as it is written and given in God’s own words!
Besides the prophecies about Jesus in the old testament — God Himself tells us whom Jesus is — His Son!
God not only expresses His love for His Son but also says how proud He is of Him!
Now when it comes to Jesus — He tells us over and over again that He is not the Father!
Jesus tells us that the Father sent Him —
Jesus tells us that nothing that He does is by His own doing but given and done through Him by His Father.
Jesus tells Satan while being tested about His Father and that you don’t test God ! and after being tested by Satan to abandon His mission here on earth — He was so tired that the angels came to minister to Him —
Jesus tells us in John 8: 16-18 that Himself and His Father are witnesses — two are needed for testimony and He’s stating that they are separate and two in number.
Jesus tells us that His Father is greater than Himself.
Jesus pray’s to His Father and asks for help not only for Himself but for others.
God tells us in His word that Jesus was the firstborn of all creation and was made in the image of the invisible God — did you catch an image of — not God but in the image of just like us.
Jesus tells us the only way to the Father is through Him.
Jesus tells us in John 8:42 that He did not come of His own accord but His Father sent Him.
Jesus stated again and again — everything He says — does and can do, comes straight from His Father!
As is stated in John 17:20 – 23 Jesus states that He wants us — me and you — to be one as He and His Father are one. That is to believe in the same thing — as one.
For Jesus’s doing His Fathers will — God gives Him all the kingdoms and universe — He puts all authority in Him — now why would He have to do this if He is Jesus and Jesus is He — they are His, to begin with !!
God is whom He says He is and Jesus is whom God says He is as well as Jesus is whom He says He and His Father are!
Just for an FYI on this trinity doctrine — all the Holy Spirit is — is Gods spirit or active force that He uses His spirit to do things — I’ll go over this on a different post but the bottom line is this — God and the Holy Spirit are one and the same and Jesus is God’s Son.
I can go on as I stated earlier — for pages 🙂 but I also don’t want to lose your interest — so we will close soon.
The whole point of this post is that I truly believe and am concerned that you need to know who you believe in for being a sacrifice for your sins and the difference between God and His Son.
God is not a Father of confusion — and if you take what He has told us and not try to add to or think you can out-think God — it’s very easy and simple.
As I stated — I think it’s very important to come judgment day whom you say died and was a sacrificed for your sins — but — but — I’m not the Judge and want to stress its just my opinion how important I feel it is.
I know if my Son died for you — I would want you to thank Him for that and not me.
As stated in God’s word — from how I understand the plan on how to save our souls — it was God’s plan and Jesus loved us and His Father enough to go through with His so very important part in it.
On God’s most important part — He loved us enough to let His Son go through with the plan and give us a way out of sin and give us a chance for life eternal as originally planned before Satan and sin found us.

To end this — please read and study what God has given you in His word and instruction — read what Jesus says — I also have one don’t 🙂 don’t believe what man tells you or makes up! Only what God and His Son have to say!
Please invest in a Bible that hasn’t taken out Gods name that He so wanted you to know — I use ” The New Jerusalem Bible “
