Wisdom Proverbs 4:7

Hello everyone and a blessed day to all.

If I could – I would pray for wisdom for all of you, as I do for myself daily if not several times a day — but I can’t 🙁
You see there are requirements to gaining wisdom and the first is to fear God!
After this — you must study and listen to the words of guidance God gives you and act on them or use them as He explains and teaches in His Word He gave us – the Bible.
Advice and guidance are of no value if we ignore and don’t use it!
Someone on one in prayer with God is also very much advised before reading and studying His Word.
The main reason I wanted to talk about and address the issue of wisdom and common sense today, is because I see so very little of it being used these days and when it is sought out — who are most looking to for it!
God’s book on life is full of wisdom, yet I see most looking to celebrities or those who are famous for the day and actually think this somehow makes them wise ???????
I see people look to those of influence knowing that they are corrupt and asking for their council and advice ?????
I know we live in a time when we aren’t to step on any toes or hurt anyone’s feelings – but – God has a word for those who seek knowledge and wisdom from this kind of people and its called being a fool!
I regret a little if I hurt anyone’s feelings but I’m more worried about your soul and not so much about your feelings.
I’m also worried about the influence you may have over others’ souls that you may sway in the wrong direction or not point in the right direction and this could have everlasting consequences!
God gave us a whole book on wisdom and common sense, yet I never see this quoted in the news or media and rarely by others ??? Why ???
When I see in my mind a picture of what we are talking about, I see a mighty oak tree of wisdom standing in the middle of a field of wheat on a windy day — Gods mighty oak tree of wisdom doesn’t move or sway from the truth and wisdom but the wheat sways back and forth as the wind changes —- and yes — we are the wheat swaying back and forth as public opinion changes or a movie star blurts out an opinion —– 🙁
It doesn’t matter if we are seeking the answers to leading a good life or raising our children or running our household and country — all the correct answers are given to us by God ! but you must seek the answers out and most important — use and live by Gods advice!
I pray daily to God that He helps me use wisdom in all my decisions and in any advice that I may give to others with the questions that life brings.
Its time for me to confess – 🙂 I’ve made my share of foolish mistakes in my life but I’ve never made one using the guidance and advice from God! All my foolishness came from my own choices or from taking the advice of others who were as foolish as myself.
This post and talk has a couple of objectives —- I hope and pray it brings you closer to God and it will for certain give you a happier life – both morally and spiritually 🙂
